David Mason has dedicated his career to representing individuals and families injured by corporate greed, carelessness, and reckless conduct. With a background in environmental law, plaintiff’s side medical malpractice, and appellate litigation, David focuses his practice on wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury representation in all courts throughout Colorado and across the United States, with a special emphasis on automotive defects, other dangerous and defective products, recreational injuries, and automobile and trucking collisions. David's focus is on advising and representing individuals who have been seriously injured or have lost loved ones as a result of acts of corporate negligence and greed and the wrongful conduct of others.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, David has called Colorado home for nearly 25 years. David is a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver (summa cum laude) and of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he finished in the top five percent of his graduating class and was a law review editor. He is a graduate of the Trial Skills program at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) in Boulder, Colorado and an active member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA). David has numerous reported appellate decisions, both as merits counsel and as amicus counsel. David has lectured to attorney groups on various topics in the field of complex personal injury litigation and is a published author in his field.
David has been recognized as a "Top 40 Under 40" attorney for Colorado by the American Trial Lawyers Association and as a "Rising Star" by Colorado Super Lawyers in various fields of plaintiff's personal injury practice including plaintiff's-side products liability litigation. Outside of work, David enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, gardening, rooting for his beloved Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Arsenal Football Club, and shepherding his four children to and from their many school and extracurricular activities.
